Aubrey Groves is an IECA professional member. She joined Davis Groves Educational Services in 2015. Aubrey graduated from Davidson College in 2006 where she majored in English and minored in Chinese. She has lived in China, Japan, and England. She received her Master’s in Eastern Asian Studies at Duke University and went on to become a Chinese language teacher to high school students at two different boarding schools on the East Coast before joining her mom as an IEC. In June 2023, Aubrey began serving as Vice Chair of the Central Texas IECA Regional group, that now serves IECs from Waco to San Marcos, Texas. In June 2024, she will begin serving as the Chair of the Central Texas IECA Regional Group and eventually move into the Ex-Officio role after one year as Chair. Aubrey also serves as the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the TACAC IEC SIG and is an active member of the IECA College Tours Committee.
Aubrey's innate ability to relate well to students has helped her ease students through the application process for colleges both domestic and abroad. She also serves as the tech whiz behind the scenes of DGES helping to make the journey of applying to college more effective and efficient!
Aubrey has helped grow Davis Groves Educational Services into a well-known and respected professional IEC company in the Austin, Texas community and beyond.
